Come and try the basics and a bit more of Dacayana Eskrima with Tamas who`s the only Authorised Coach in the south.

As an open event we`d like to invite everyone to join and learn some new skills that may be useful one day.

Dacayana Tr Gr_04.11.2017_with_TEskrima, Arnis and (in the West) Kali are umbrella terms for the traditional martial arts of the Philippines that emphasise weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives and other bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons. It also includes hand-to-hand combat and weapon disarming techniques. Kali is a very sophisticated, highly refined old and indigenous art dating to prehistoric Philippines what`s been developed and practised for centuries, although until lately, has hardly been known outside the country. This 2 hour long workshop is the beginning of something more regular and will focus on:

  • strikes,
  • blocks,
  • footwork,
  • stick against stick techniques,
  • stick and knife work,
  • disarms…

…just to mention a few topics. The aim of the workshop is to teach you the basics of the art or if you`re already an FMA (Filipino Martial Art) student, to enhance your knowledge.

As an open event we`d like to invite everyone to join and learn some new skills that may be useful one day.
